Who we are
We are a small team of counsellors and psychotherapists who believe that counselling should be accessible and affordable to everyone. Frustrated by the lack of adequate mental health services in Southampton, we came together to offer an alternative.

Our vision is to create an ethical, sustainable and Person-Centred service. We do not operate a waiting list, and you can have as many counselling sessions as you wish.

We do not receive any government or NHS funding. We ask our counselling clients to pay towards the cost of their sessions, which allows us to keep helping others. We are a genuine non-profit and 100% of everything we get goes into running our service.

We launched on 1st April 2024, and have grown to a team of 12 delivering approximately 150 counselling sessions every month.
Our counselling
We offer one-to-one, 50 minute counselling sessions for adults and young people aged 11 and over.

Sessions can be delivered over Zoom, telephone or in person. Our therapy rooms located in Ocean Village in Southampton. We also do some limited work through schools and colleges.

All of our counsellors are primarily Person-Centred or Humanistic in modality. This focusses on building a safe, confidential and trust-based relationship with our client over time, and is non-directive in nature.

We believe that by being listened to and understood, people naturally find ways to overcome life's challenges. Our counsellors help you to explore the root causes of your feelings and to resolve them.
"I’ve had a couple sessions with Tom now and I can’t wait to do more. He is incredibly warm, kind hearted and clearly in this job for the right reasons. His passion is clear and his values are in the right place. This is also a far more affordable service than I’ve seen by far."
