Specialisms

I am qualified and experienced in working with all types of issues, however I specialise in anxiety, PTSD, grief, suicide, carers, low self-esteem, relationships, family dynamics and life changes.

Who am I?

My name is Sheila and I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor. I work with both adults as well as children and young people.

My experience comes from me initially working in the care profession and voluntary youth work which lead to me obtaining my degree in later years… Nothing is impossible!

Over the last ten years I have worked with the charity Simon Says that supports children and Carers together. I also worked alongside other ethical frameworks during the pandemic supporting our NHS
staff.

How can I help?

Life can be like a journey. At times a straight road and then twists and turns leaving you unsure as to the way forward.

This is when reaching out for some help, such as counselling can be beneficial…

Having someone to listen and explore your thoughts in a safe, confidential environment. I’ve been there and I understand.

I don’t give advice; I am there to listen with you in the driving seat.
